Stephen Sutton has incurable cancer. “I was first diagnosed with bowel cancer in September 2010. I then have had periods of remission and relapse, before doctors eventually described my disease as incurable in November 2012.”
In 2012 he wrote a list of things he wanted to do before he dies. It consisted of 46 items and he has since completed most of them including visiting Cern in Switzerland and setting a Guinness world record. He has also raised £3m for charity which is more than 300 times his original target of £10,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Stephen has now died but his spirit lives on. He had said it is not so much the length of your life that matters, but what you do with it.
