Sacred Circle Dance Weekend : Purley Chase Centre, Warwickshire, England Friday 07 June 2013 – 17:00 to Sunday 09 June 2013 – 14:00
This is a weekend of sacred dance. We intend to use circle dances around lighted candle to illustrate and to reflect upon our theme.
A home is a perfect dwelling place shared with those we love and where we can be our true selves. This is what we all long for. A home is a place where we belong, which is prepared just for us, where we feel most comfortable and at peace. this is where we feel safe and secure. It is where we restore our energies, a place where we can reflect and be still. A homecoming can be a wonderful celebration in which we feel enfolded by the love of our family and friends.
The Divine dwells within our very being and we dwell in The Divine. Our lives can be seen as a journey home to our own perfect and unique spiritual dwelling place with The Divine. Are you on a quest to discover your true self and your inner connection with The Divine? such a quest expands our horizons and makes space for an awareness of the dwelling of Divine Love and Divine Wisdom deep within. Such a quest brings us to where we long to be, where we are at peace with whom we are and what we need to do. We can experience this spiritual homecoming now.
“For love alone can waken what is divine within you. In love, you grow and come home to your self.” – John O’Donohue
The turning dancing circle is a perfect symbol of a journey as it spirals and weaves its way. We hold hands together on this journey centered on the light in the middle of our circle. Join with us as we celebrate a journey of spirit and share a homecoming of spirit through dance.
We extend a warm welcome both to experienced circle dancers and those of all ages and abilities who are new to circle dancing. there is no need for a partner.
(Please note that the first session starts at 5pm on Friday and the event finishes after lunch on Sunday.)
