Sarah Darling dropped some coins from her purse into a begging cup. Without her realising it, her diamond ring accidentally was dropped into the cup as well. This was in Kansas where homeless man Billy Ray Harris was tempted to pawn the ring that had fallen into his hands. Instead, he waited for the owner to come back, which she did the next day. Her fiancé wanted to thank the man, so he set up an online appeal. The story went viral and the total raised passed $150,000 enough to buy Harris a home of his own.
