A story to warm your heart.

You wouldn’t carry on doing the hard work of writing your novel if you realised your pen wasn’t working and nothing was showing on the paper. But that exactly was what Trish Vickers was doing. She is blind and her pen had run out of ink for 26 pages of her book and she didn’t know.

But help was on hand. The police forensic team in Dorset gave up their lunch breaks to work on the problem. They were using special lighting to study the indentations of the pen on the manuscript. It actually took 5 months of painstaking work, but astonishingly they were able to recover all but one line of the chapter for the author.
