Patience (After Sebald)

On the 14th May, there will be a ‘collaborative event’ with curator Gareth
Evans and Soda Pictures. The Swedenborg Society will present a very special screening in Swedenborg Hall of Patience (After Sebald), the new feature documentary on the writer WG Max Sebald.

The film’s award-winning director Grant Gee and the author Christopher Woodward will discuss Patience afterwards, and take questions from the floor.

WG Sebald’s unique narrative voice unearthing otherworldly landscapes in the topography of East Anglia, and his meditations on disintegration and perpetuity, may be of interest to readers of Swedenborg; and the film features many faces which should be familiar to Swedenborg Hall audiences, including Iain Sinclair and Marina Warner.

Admission is free but capacity is limited. More info http://bit.ly/Jm2HU8
